PRODUCT USES:
- For decorative/ industrial use on metals where it produces a gloss finish, sometimes preferred when a period of weeks/months is likely to elapse before overcoating. Not suitable for use in highly corrosive atmospheres particularly in coastal regions, where Crown Zinc Phosphate Primer is recommended.
- Substrates: Steelwork, commercial vehicle bodies, machinery, metal casement windows, heavy, structural steelwork and light gauge metal structures.
- Thinner & equipment cleaner: White Spirit.
- Dilution Ratio: Supplied for use for brush or roller application. For spray application thin up to spray viscosity with Crown White Spirit. Avoid overthinning. Stir well before use.
- Drying Times: Touch dry: 4 -5. Recoatable: 8 – 16 hrs
- The product can be applied by: Brush, roller or spray
- Spreading Capacity per coat: Depends on film thickness applied, type of texture, surface porosity, imperfections, temperature & wastage during painting 8 - 10 m2/l when applied on smooth surfaces. Maximum spread rate per coat is obtained at minimum dry film thickness and vice versa
- Economical.
- Good corrosion resistance and adhesion.
